Director | Medical illustrator & animator
Annie is an award-winning medical illustrator and animator. After finishing her undergraduate in Neuroscience, at the University of Glasgow, she obtained her Master’s in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Chicago, at Illinois. Her experiences as an art director, project manager and multimedia artist for various studios and companies has provided her with a broad range of skills and expertise that she now brings to every project.
Annie firmly believes in life long learning and sharing. One of her passions is sharing the world of medical illustration with others. As part of this endeavor she co-founded the learning channel SciArtNow, guest lectures for the Medical Art programmes at the University of Dundee and Liverpool University. Annie also volunteers her time to do some social media and blog organization for the Journal of Visual Communication in Medicine.
Junior medical illustrator & multimedia designer
Coming from a background in Biology and Psychology, Susie obtained her Master’s in Medical Art with Distinction from the University of Dundee. After qualifying she went to work gaining experience with a range of organisations, from graphic design for a medical consultancy in London and for NHS Wales, to 3D specimen digitisation for the University of Dundee, alongside creating video tutorials for the online learning platform Kenhub.
As part of her work Susie is passionate about bringing information to life in new and impactful ways. Her additional experience in disability support and advocacy provides her with a unique insight into how information can be most effectively broken down to engage diverse audiences. In her spare time she enjoys walking, history, travelling, and binge-watching nature documentaries.
