I'm doing a talk about medical illustration at the Dundee Design Festival
If anyone is in Dundee next Friday for the Dundee Design Festival, I'll be doing a short talk with some of my colleagues about our collaborative work on a medical animation we've produced for medical education.
I'll be focusing on my process on creating these videos with a medical student. Come along if you fancy checkout it out.
More about the festival and other events here:
Gray’s Anatomy is one of the most influential illustrated books in the world. For over 150 years and 41 editions it has been the go-to guide for those wanting to glimpse inside the human body. But with the huge strides in digital animation and 3D modeling software, how can designers better communicate what lies under the skin? Hear how a team of surgeons, clinicians, educators and medical artists are working together to produce jaw-dropping images to reveal the human anatomy pixel by pixel.
All workshops and talks take place at West Ward Works where we will also be holding the exhibition.
