This tutorial is useful for a beginner looking to create their first cell model.

Using Autodesk Maya this tutorial shows you how to create a simple cell for your medical animation. We'll take a look using polygon primitives to create the cell and I'll also share with you my shader settings to achieve this look.

I had a lot of fun making this tutorial but I have to admit, one of my main struggles is getting the texturing look and feel right. For me I tend to do a lot of post production on my animations to make it look the way I envisioned. I know for other artists they they do very little post production and their renders look amazing. It's something that I want to work towards but it'll be a while away.
